How to Access your Digital eBook(s):

If an eBook is available in a certain title, it will be listed under the purchase price of the textbooks as Digital. Unfortunately, eBooks are not available in every title. Expiration dates vary anywhere from 180 days to 720 days from the activation date. Once the eBook title has been downloaded through the Bookstore's website, it is no longer returnable.  Follow the directions below to access your eBooks. 

• Navigate to the RCTC Bookstore’s website
• If you have not purchased anything on the RCTC Bookstore’s website before, you will have to create a log-in. Click Login in the top right corner. Next click on Register Here, and then click on Create a Student Profile. Fill in all the required spaces and Submit profile.
• If you already have a Login, just click Login (top right corner) and enter your email address and password.
• Next, the screen should say, Welcome (your name). Click on the link that says Activate and Access eBooks.

• If you purchased your eBook online
o You will see a picture of the book, or it may say Image Not Available for the book. Make sure the down arrow says Access Content and click on the image of the book.
o After reading over the RedShelf guidelines check the boxes, click Accept and Continue.
o You should now be on the page that says, My Shelf.  On the right-hand side, click on the Start Reading button, this is your eBook.
o If you purchased a Publisher access code (Pearson MyLab Math/Mastering, Connect, Cengage/MindTap/Webassign) another page should pop up with a 20-digit access code for your class. This is the code you will use on the publisher’s website. Copy and paste this code on the publisher’s website.

• If you purchased your eBook in the Bookstore
o Click on the link that says, "Click here to activate an in-store purchase".
o Under Provider use the drop-down arrow to choose RedShelf or VitalSource, (it will say on your receipt)
o Enter the 16-digit access code (redemption code) from your receipt in the space that says Access Code and click Activate.
o You will see a picture of the book, or it may say Image Not Available for the book. Make sure the down arrow says Access Content and click on the image of the book.
o After reading over the RedShelf guidelines check the boxes and click Accept and Continue.
o You should now be on the page that says, My Shelf. On the right-hand side, click on the Start Reading button, this is your eBook.
